Acclimatization: Getting cozy with the altitude is key for nailing that summit! Picture this: chill-out days and a slow climb to get in sync with the heights. But hey, even with all that prep, the altitude and weather at the top are like extreme sports, so keeping an eye on acclimatization is a must.

Weather Conditions: The weather on Makalu is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get! From fierce winds to heavy snowfall and bone-chilling cold, climbers better pack their thermal undies. Environmental Responsibility: The Makalu region is a hidden gem, and our adventure crew will stick to eco-friendly rules. We'll pack out all waste and climbers must channel their inner ninjas to keep the environment spick and span.

Cultural Sensitivity: The journey to Makalu Base Camp weaves through far-off villages home to the Sherpa and Rai tribes. Climbers are urged to embrace local customs, traditions, and spiritual rituals, and to mingle with the community in a friendly and thoughtful manner.

Permits and Regulations: Conquering Makalu means getting a bunch of permits - one from the Nepalese government and entry passes for the Makalu Barun National Park. Don't sweat it, though! The expedition pros will handle all the permit paperwork for you.
