Overview

The Langtang Valley Trek is a captivating journey into one of Nepal's most beautiful and less-crowded trekking regions. Known as the "Valley of Glaciers," Langtang offers trekkers an incredible blend of natural beauty, cultural experiences, and relatively easy accessibility from Kathmandu. The trek takes you through lush forests, traditional Tamang and Sherpa villages, and up into alpine meadows with stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The Langtang Valley is also home to the sacred Gosainkunda Lake and the famous Langtang Lirung (7,227 meters), offering a serene yet adventurous experience for trekkers of all levels.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu, where you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Rest or explore the city.
Day 2

A scenic drive through picturesque landscapes to the starting point of the trek.
Day 3

Begin your trek along the Langtang River, passing through dense forests and small villages.
Day 4

Continue through the forest, gradually ascending to the beautiful Langtang Village, with views of Langtang Lirung.
Day 5

A shorter trek to Kyanjin Gompa, where you'll have time to explore the monastery and surrounding areas.
Day 6

Spend the day exploring the high-altitude surroundings, including a hike to Tserko Ri (4,985m) for panoramic mountain views.
Day 7

Retrace your steps back down the valley, enjoying the changing scenery.
Day 8

A descent back to Syabrubesi, where the trek began.
Day 9

A drive back to Kathmandu, where you can rest and explore the city.
Day 10

Transfer to the airport for your departure or continue your journey in Nepal.
