Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Meet your expedition team, complete the necessary paperwork, and begin preparations for the climb.
Day 2

Attend a detailed briefing with your expedition leader. Final gear checks and preparations are made. Time to explore the city or make last-minute purchases.
Day 3

A short scenic flight to Pokhara, offering beautiful views of the Himalayas. Spend the rest of the day exploring the lakeside city or relaxing before the expedition.
Day 4

Drive through picturesque landscapes to Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs. This is a great opportunity to relax and acclimatize.
Day 5

Continue driving through the beautiful Kali Gandaki Valley to Lete, where you will begin your trek towards the Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 6

Begin trekking through dense rhododendron forests, crossing several streams and passing through traditional villages.
Day 7

The trail becomes steeper as you ascend through the alpine zone. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding peaks as you make your way to Hum Khola.
Day 8

Continue your trek to Annapurna Base Camp, where you will set up camp and prepare for the climb. The base camp offers spectacular views of Annapurna I and its surrounding peaks.
Day 9-27

Spend these days acclimatizing and preparing for the summit push. Establish higher camps (Camp I, II, and III) as you gradually ascend. The climb involves navigating steep ice and rock sections, with weather conditions playing a crucial role. Once the summit is reached, descend back to Base Camp.
Day 28

After the successful summit, retrace your steps back to Hum Khola, where you can rest and recover.
Day 29

Continue descending through familiar trails, enjoying the beauty of the Annapurna region as you make your way back to Thulo Bugin.
Day 30

Reach Lete, marking the end of your trekking journey. Celebrate the successful expedition with your team.
Day 31

Drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax and unwind after the challenging climb. Enjoy the comforts of the city and celebrate your achievement.
Day 32

Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest, explore, or shop for souvenirs.
Day 33

A free day in Kathmandu for relaxation or sightseeing. It's also a buffer day in case of any delays during the expedition.
Day 34

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure, carrying the memories of a lifetime from your Annapurna adventure.

Logistics and Equipment:

  • Porters to carry up to 45 kg per member to and from the Base Camp
  • Equipment provisioning such as glamping dome tents, dining tents, kitchen tents, communication tents, shower tents, and toilet tents, tables, chairs, heaters, etc.
  • High-altitude equipment including high tents, shovels, ropes, EPI gas, gas burners, high-altitude food, etc.
  • Oxygen supply: 3 bottles for each member and 2 bottles for climbing Sherpa
  • Summit masks and regulator sets for each member and climbing Sherpa, with extras available during the summit day if needed
  • Meals and beverages provision including continental, Nepali, Indian, and Chinese cuisine, hot drinks, tea, coffee, fresh fruits, canned beverages, energy drinks, light snacks

Physical Fitness: The Annapurna Expedition requires excellent physical fitness and prior experience in high-altitude mountaineering. The climb involves steep ascents, technical sections, and long days of climbing.

Altitude: The expedition reaches an altitude of 8,091 meters, so proper acclimatization is crucial. Multiple acclimatization days and a gradual ascent are planned to help minimize the risk of altitude sickness.

Technical Skills: The climb involves navigating steep ice and rock sections. Experience with crampons, ice axes, and fixed ropes is essential. Prior experience with 7,000-meter peaks is highly recommended.
