Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. Transfer to your hotel and meet the expedition team for a briefing on the expedition.
Day 2

Attend a detailed briefing by the Pakistani mountaineering authorities. Finalize permits and gear preparation.
Day 3

Take a scenic flight to Skardu, the gateway to the Karakoram Range. If the flight is canceled due to weather, drive to Skardu, which takes two days.
Day 4

Spend the day in Skardu organizing supplies, checking equipment, and exploring the town.
Day 5

Embark on a thrilling jeep ride through rugged terrain to the village of Askole, the last inhabited settlement before entering the wilderness.
Day 6

Begin the trek along the Braldu River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through stark landscapes to reach Jhula.
Day 7

Continue trekking through the rocky terrain with views of the Trango Towers. Reach Paiyu, where the team will rest and acclimatize.
Day 8

Take a rest day at Paiyu to acclimatize and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Day 9

Trek alongside the Baltoro Glacier, passing through dramatic landscapes and arriving at Urdukas, a beautiful campsite with incredible views.
Day 10

Continue the trek on the Baltoro Glacier, navigating through icy terrain and surrounded by towering peaks, to reach Goro II.
Day 11

Trek to the legendary Concordia, where the Baltoro and Godwin-Austen glaciers meet. Enjoy panoramic views of some of the world’s highest peaks, including K2.
Day 12

Trek towards the base of Broad Peak, passing by the Broad Peak Glacier and setting up the base camp for the climb.
Day 13-35

Spend these days acclimatizing, establishing higher camps (Camp I, II, and III), and making summit attempts. The ascent involves steep snow and ice slopes, and the summit day includes a long traverse along the summit ridge. After reaching the summit, descend back to Base Camp.
Day 36

Begin the return journey by trekking back to Concordia, retracing your steps through the Karakoram.
Day 37

Continue descending through the glacier and icy terrain, returning to Goro II.
Day 38

Further descend to Urdukas, enjoying the changing scenery as you lose altitude.
Day 39

Trek back to Paiyu, passing familiar landmarks and reflecting on the expedition.
Day 40

Continue descending along the Braldu River, reaching Jhula once more.
Day 41

Complete the final leg of the trek, returning to the village of Askole.
Day 42

Take a jeep ride back to Skardu, where you can rest and celebrate the successful expedition
Day 43

Fly back to Islamabad, weather permitting. If flights are delayed, an overland journey may be required.
Day 44

A free day in Islamabad to rest, explore the city, or handle any last-minute tasks. It also serves as a buffer day in case of delays.
Day 45

Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your departure, concluding the expedition.

  • Porters to carry up to 50 kg per member to and from the Base Camp

  • High-altitude equipment including high tents, shovels, ropes, EPI gas, gas burners, high-altitude food, etc.
  • Oxygen supply: 4 bottles for each member and 3 bottles for climbing Sherpa
  • Summit masks and regulator sets for each member and climbing Sherpa, with extras available during the summit day if needed
